HS2 Bonfire

We have a big bonfire in my village on Nov 5 th every year. the designers are getting more inventive and exciting. This year the burnt a life size model of HS2, to much cheering a merriment. It made the times and National news!!.

Alvaro Course Porlock Weir

My first attempt at painting in a similar way to Alvaro Castagnet, a recent course I went to near Whitby. Brilliant painter who did 2 demos a day for 5 days. Teaching by doing. We were expected to paint as frequently as he did in various venues. Robin Hood's Bay. Staithes, Whitby, Scarborough..Wonderful course, super organisers very caring, good hotel in a truly picturesque situation, excellent food. Alcaro was a brilliant tutor and a remarkable talent have a look at his web site.Thank you all at the course for amkingit such a super time and a unique artistic experience.
