Heavy Frost and keen to paint went near bye and painted this au-plein-air in about 15 or 20 mins. Very pleased with the result and enjoyed it immensely.
Very cold day I felt anxious to get out Went down the road and did this painting au-plein-air in about 20 mins. I am very pleased with the result. Painted with palette knives.
This is a piece of work which was inspired by the remarkable drawing and ink sketches of trees made by John Piper. Many of these sketches are owned by The Aylesbury Museum, and i found them very inspiring.
Grandson asked ifI would paint his favourite artist. I selected the picture to paint o that it would be a surprise, but also in order to do a good painting I needed to want to paint it. He said he was very pleased.
A mixed media piece I had great fun with wooden panels as part of the design sting and dry grasses. This is where HS2 may have come to make tunnels in beautiful Bucks.
This was painted as a limited palette exercise using colours I never use. This is a huge field which originally was full of 60's, 70's, cars trucks all manner of things. The guy who owned the field had put up a notice saying all trespassers will be shot !
